The ‘Generative AI accelerates business transformation’ study highlights both the potential of Gen AI to optimise business processes and increase competitiveness as well as the associated challenges, such as a lack of expertise, data protection concerns and technological hurdles. The study also focuses on the role of cloud infrastructure as an access accelerator for high-performance AI models and as a driver of digital transformation.
For this study techcsonsult GmbH (part of the heise Group) and Ascent surveyed 201 companies across Germany with at least 250 employees. The survey was conducted using computer-assisted web interviews (CAWI), focussing on people in IT management positions and decision-makers from senior business units who are already using AI.
