Meet BiLD, the latest addition to the Ascent family.

BiLD is a Lisbon-based, cloud-first data engineering, BI and analytics consultancy that empowers businesses to do more with their data – and we couldn’t be more excited to bring such a dynamic and passionate team into the Ascent fold.

It’s another big day for our business as we say ‘bem vindo’ to BiLD. Based in Lisbon, Portugal, BiLD is a milestone moment in the Ascent story as we continue to invest in cutting-edge data engineering capabilities to help our customers build digital muscle.

What does BiLD do?

BiLD’s blend of core data engineering, automation, visualisation and analytics helps customers drive growth with insight, lowering costs and optimising performance. Their talented teams work with leading tools to design and deliver flexible, cost-effective strategies and architectures, including:

  • Data Engineering: Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Alteryx, SSIS, SQL Server, Spark, Airflow

  • Data Visualisation: Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik

  • DevOps: Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform

  • Programming Languages: SQL, Python, R, Scala

A new EU data talent hub.

Our customers’ digital ambitions almost always have data at their core. At a technical level, BiLD adds 30 highly certified data engineers to Ascent’s data practice, helping customers transform and build data maturity in the cloud. We will continue to build out our footprint in Portugal under the leadership of Diogo Dias, a BiLD founder and managing partner.
