Your responsibilities 

As our next Senior UI Designer (F/M/X), you are responsible for designing interactive web and mobile applications. Your mission will be to improve the user interface on web, iOS and Android.  

• You’ll partner with our design team to create compelling visual and interactive designs for digital applications 
• You will take full ownership of the creation of wireframes, prototypes, visual design, style guides, design libraries as well as design systems 
• As an experienced designer, you will help set the tone for our design team and also defend your design decisions both to the client and to the product owner 
• You’ll help junior designers in their development and bring design knowledge to the team 
• You will be working closely together with an experienced cross-functional team to bring our clients’ products to the next level 
• Minimum monthly gross salary: € 3.400 (14 times per year, based on 38,5h/week, no all-in contract). However, we always ensure to offer a competitive salary adjusted to your qualifications and experience. 

Skills and Experience

• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in graphic design, interface design or educational background in related fields  
• A strong foundation in typography, composition, visual systems, interaction design, visual design, atomic design and design processes 
• You are well known for ruthlessly prioritizing and executing, as you are comfortable optimizing for speed and knowing when we should sweat the details vs what can fix forward 
• You manage to release your emotions from the design, and listen to user feedback 
• Knowledge of a variety of design tools like Sketch, InVision, Figma or other 
• Nice to have: Experience with UX Design, Skills/Certification in accessible Design
• You have a meticulous, quality-focussed working style  
• Motivation and passion for constantly learning new things and honing your skills 
• You have an online portfolio, or PDF that you can share with us. Applications without a portfolio are unlikely to be considered 
• You feel comfortable speaking German & English.
