We are seeking a forward-thinking Clinical Programming Domain Expert to join our team at Ascent?    
About the Role

You will develop and maintain a comprehensive library of metadata to support automation initiatives. You possess a solid foundation in statistical programming with a strong preference for R, a keen interest in data science, and a passion for automation. Contributions to the admiral project are a significant plus. 
In this role, you will be involved with: 
Metadata Library Development: 

  • Create, maintain, and enhance a library of metadata to facilitate automation in clinical programming. 

  • Ensure metadata is accurate, up-to-date, and aligns with industry standards and best practices. 

Statistical Programming: 

  • Utilize expertise in R to develop and manage statistical programming tasks that support automation efforts. 

  • Collaborate with other team members to integrate metadata solutions into existing workflows and systems. 

Automation & Innovation: 

  • Drive the adoption of automation tools and methodologies within the team. 

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in automation and data science to continuously improve processes and tools. 

  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy in clinical programming. 

Documentation & Collaboration: 

  • Develop comprehensive documentation for metadata and automation processes. 

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure metadata solutions meet organizational needs. 

  • Participate in and contribute to relevant meetings, providing insights and recommendations based on domain expertise. 

You will have: 

  • Proven experience in statistical programming 

  • Proficiency in R; experience with SAS is a plus but not required. 

  • Demonstrable ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies. 

  • Strong interest in data science and automation trends. 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.  

  • Familiarity with metadata management and automation tools.  

  • Enthusiast for future-thinking technologies. 

  • Experience in contributing to the R package admiral. 

  • Knowledge of Python is advantageous but not mandatory.
