About the role
Ascent provides IT Services (mainly Time & Material) to numerous Blue Chip Enterprises and Small/Medium businesses primarily based in the UK and some in the US and Malta. The role covers contractual relationships with these customers, including Managed Service Agreements, contracts and GDPR requirements.
- Advise on contract terms, legal issues, and business risks;
- Review and amend agreements from customers and suppliers;
- Negotiate contract terms & NDAs to reflect business requirements;
- Create new contracts and update existing ones
- Manage changes in contracting during contract lifecycle;
- Instruct external lawyers where required.
- Legal advise broader management and Executive Directors
- Good knowledge of commercial contract law (mainly UK)
- Experience and knowledge of Data Protection Law
- NDA knowledge for Customers and Suppliers
