We are looking for a highly-motivated Integration Support Specialist to join Ascent in our Sofia office!

 

About the role

The fundamental purpose of this position is to provide quality IT services, support, and consultation to end-users and support staff in accordance with BDO IT service management processes, to agreed service levels.

In addition to serving as a point of contact for technical users and providing 2nd integration support to 1st and 2nd level support staff, this position supports the implementation and resolution of multiple API issues and integration of a SaaS-based solution with multiple applications and platforms.

The role is set up as hybrid (mostly remote).

 

What you’ll do

Performance and progress in the following areas will be the priorities for this position:

  • Support for the Business to integrate localized and in some cases bespoke solutions with SaaS platform APIs, initially as part of the Project and then according to established IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and procedures
  • Knowledge Management includes the creation of records to document identified workarounds, known errors, and related procedures
  • Standardization and documentation of common procedures that cannot be easily automated, for execution by other resources or teams, training of team members in the use and execution of manual documented processes
  • Incident/Problem management which includes monitoring escalated incidents and service requests and liaising with support teams to drive issue resolution and enhance communication with the client

 

Skills and Experience

  • Strong years of experience in the development, implementation, and management of platform integrations in addition to the development and support of APIs.
  • Deep knowledge and experience delivering Information Technology support in a complex, professional environment. 
  • Able to effectively diagnose and resolve issues relating to SaaS platforms and integrations therein.
  • Confident communicator, able to interface with and effectively communicate with multiple technical stakeholders across various business areas.

You need to demonstrate the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of the support of complex line of business applications and services, teamwork, problem-solving, initiative, and integrity. It is essential to bring excellent English language proficiency and good interpersonal communication skills and be an expert in API Tools (MS Azure, AWS, etc).

It is a plus if you have knowledge of Encoding languages (i.e. JSON – Perl).
