About the role

We need a manual QA with a good, tracked record of creating and executing test plans. So you'll be a senior member of the development team working with colleagues from Front-End, QA, Dev Ops, and Project Management.

The role will be hybrid and you can spend time at the office or work from home.

What you’ll do 

•  Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools

• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs

You will perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved and develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs. You will liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements, monitor debugging process results, and track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts. Last, but not least you need to stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies. Skills like knowledge of some key e-commerce principles and understanding of performance, load, and security testing principles and best practices would be considered an asset.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in manual testing
• Experience in testing e-Commerce stores
• Have strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Be able to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Demonstrate a good understanding of SQL

You need to have strong experience in manual testing and cross-browser testing and knowledge in testing experience with API. You need to demonstrate experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. It is essential to have excellent written and spoken English communication skills and comfortable working in a dynamic and agile environment.
