We're looking for an experienced commercial support executive to join us for a period of 12 months to cover maternity leave. In this role, you'll be working closely with our colleagues from other teams in Finance, Sales, Resourcing and other groups around the business to ensure contracts, reports and processes are accurate, up to date and running smoothly to keep our teams working efficiently and effectively.

 

About the role

Joining our Commercial Operations team, you play a vital role to ensure reporting and forecasting can be done accurately and efficiently. There is a mixture of work related to monthly processes on set cycles, as well as ad hoc tasks and requests that you'll need to juggle and prioritise things in a way that keeps our business flowing, and doesn't compromise on accuracy. Some of the things you'll do include:

  • Managing monthly scheduled reporting tasks with timely updates and checks
  • Working with contracts, statements of work and other commercial documents that may have short turnaround times or conflicting priorities
  • Ensuring accuracy of forecast sheets and reports
  • Reprioritising and managing a varied workload

Skills and experience needed

First and foremost, this is a role where being proactive and highly organised are critical, and the ability to do this effectively with colleagues from other teams, and collaborate to get things done together is paramount. We're looking for someone who can bring these skills and experiences to the role:

  • Role experience from a commercial, finance or sales background where you were working with contracts, reports and documents accurately and to demanding deadlines
  • Knowledge of working with documents like service or product contracts, Statements of Work, commercial agreements and other legal and commercial documentation
  • Skills in creating, reading and amending financial and other reports - you'll need a comprehensive knowledge of MS Excel, and some experience in using PowerBI is a significant advantage in this role
  • The ability to work quickly, accurately and calmly, and being able to influence colleagues from other teams to respond to priorities around commercial processes
