About the role
QA Engineers at Ascent are part of cross-functional teams, working on development projects to help our customers use software and data better. QA Engineers might work on multiple projects at a time, so there is great variety in our roles, and an opportunity to have a real impact.

What you'll do
We are looking for QA engineers with some experience in automation to join our high-performing Group Engineering teams. You will work on broad and interesting projects - here are some of the things you'll do:
• Enable the continuous improvement of the quality and reliability of solutions delivered by the development team
• Design and create automated test suites (Unit, Component, and End-to-End)
• Optimize, expand and monitor the results of existing test suites
You will work closely with Product Managers to define and clarify requirements and implement CI/CD processes for the scheduled execution of test suites. We work in a predominantly Agile style, and so you'll be expected to contribute to creating the best practices and approaches for the team for the QA requirements in each project.
Skills and Experience
We're looking for QA Engineers with role experience that includes some automation work. Ideally, you'll be able to show:
- Skills in building automated testing frameworks, and hands-on experience with C # Selenium Web Driver, NUnit, XUnit, and Git
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and the full software development lifecycle
- Experience with Continuous integration and building tools
You need to have experience with accessibility and security tools and a good overall knowledge of test management and bug tracking tools and have worked with both relational and non-relational databases.
We love to work with collaborative, supportive colleagues who have a growth mindset and a proactive, can-do attitude to work. Excellent English communication capability, both written and verbal is crucial for these roles.
