About the role
We specialize in software product development, analytics, and data science, IoT solutions, machine learning, DevOps optimization, and modernization of applications, data, and platforms. And in case you were wondering, our customers are awesome.
Now we are looking for a UX Designer that is inquisitive, open to learning, self-motivated, and wants a strong foundation in a range of user research methods. We are on the hunt for someone creative, organized and curious that believes in themselves and doesn’t shy away from asking questions.
The role is set up as remote.
What you'll do
As part of cross-functional teams and with support from our UX Lead, your responsibilities will be to:
- Discover user and client needs in collaboration with Product Owners, Developers, and Data Scientists/Engineers
- Understand user and customer limitations and expectations
- Create personas, build user flows and compose problem statements
- Ensure feasibility internally and align with overall stakeholder goal
You will collect data and make informed decisions, based on that data, create resolution agnostic low/mid/high fidelity mockups in Figma, depending on the type of feedback to be collected and ensure a smooth handover to developers. You will take ownership of the UX process in projects, participate in workshops and present proposed solutions to clients.
Skills and Experience
- Strong experience working as a UX or UI Designer
- Education in a relevant field (informatics, HCI, Design, Technology) or work experience that can make up for lack thereof
- Experience with working alongside developers
- Used to working in Sketch or Figma
- Basic understanding of user research
You need to demonstrate strong visual language, understand Agile vs Waterfall, and have experience in working alongside developers. It is essential to be aware of how to ensure the feasibility and a portfolio to showcase strong design and problem-solving skills. It is a bonus if you have experience with HTML/CSS/JS, User Research, Facilitating workshops, and/or you were working with the Design Thinking framework and making sense of and visualizing data. And last but not least, you need to demonstrate strong communication skills in English, both verbally and written.
