What we’re looking for
We’re growing our team and have roles open now for experienced Quality Assurance Specialists to join us. The QA Specialists at BDO are part of our global team, working alongside the application development and infrastructure teams to develop and maintain our global platforms. QA Specialists are responsible for designing and actioning effective test suites, scenarios and programs principally for in-house developed software modules and applications. Ultimately, you would be responsible for ensuring that developed products, applications, modules and systems work effectively and efficiently.
What you’ll do
The QA team takes overall accountability for developing test strategies and plans to ensure our applications meet business requirements and system goals. You’ll of course execute test cases – manual or automated – evaluating and analysing results for performance and functionality. This team is truly collaborative; there is a lot of work with developers to develop effective test plans and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle. You’ll also create and maintain test logs, and keep BDO Secure Development standards, reporting bugs and issues within the group. The QA specialists also conduct PEN-tests, sometimes enabling third parties to do this, and you will test applications post-release or implementation too.
What you’ll need
We are looking for quality assurance testers or specialists, with proven experience in functional, integration and regression testing. You should have a track record of designing, developing and implementing testing solutions for software, and a solid knowledge of the software development lifecycle. If you have experience with mobile testing, big data testing, platform and security testing UI/UX and performance testing, we want to hear from you! You should be comfortable working in an Agile framework, and be at your best when you’re part of a team. If you’re ISTQB certified, this would be an advantage.

We will be looking for evidence of your initiative and integrity, and you should be someone who can take accountability for your work, and contributing to the team’s successes overall. You’ll need to have excellent English language proficiency, and be a natural collaborator.
